Things that Brady Loves . . .

Walking. This has been Brady's goal since the day he was born. His motor is always running and he has always been a mover. Even before he wasn't mobile he attempted baby situps (with limited success of course, but it was hilarious to watch). And then one glorious day (for Brady, not for mom and dad) at the end of September 2009 Brady reached his goal and began to walk fluidly. To see such a small little baby walking along is pretty humorous - very difficult not to laugh. He can really get moving now and actually runs from time to time (although he still can't catch the Monto when he chases him).
Milk. Especially in the morning or when he wakes up from a nap, Brady likes a nice full sippy cup of MILK. But you better not make it too cold or the little man will throw a tantrum because he can't guzzle it fast enough. Mama, it burns so good! He is such a fan of milk that he has just now in the past few days started to sound out the word, at least the /k/ sound. It almost comes out as a gurgly 'kkkkk' sound.

Smiling. Brady loves to smile and have a good time. He will crack up at the smallest things. He really smiles when mommy or daddy get home after having been out of the house and he sees us for the first time.

Push buggy. He loves his pimp ride, especially when mom or dad pushes him really fast. Pretty funny but he naturally grips the steering wheel. Race car driver in the future maybe? He is now learning how to climb in and out of the push buggy by himself and climbs all over it. Sometimes he gets in precarious situations and mom or dad (mostly dad) has to come over and rescue him from the awkward position he has put himself in.

Books. Brady has numerous books in his room and he absolutely loves to browse through them. He is definitely a little book worm. His favorite book is "Goodnight Moon" which he can thank his Great Aunt Gemma for giving him. Mom has taught him how to spot the kittens throughout the book and when she asks him "where are the kitties?" Brady will point to them. Very cute. Brady also really loves his animal books...

My brown brudder (the Monto). Brady has a brotha from another mutha, his best friend Monty. Unfortunately, what Brady calls love Monty views as torture, witness the picture below. Monty displays great patience though even when Brady pokes, prods and climbs all over him. The Monto will look over at his masters and give a sad look as if to say "please save me."

Exploring/Playing. Like a young Christopher Columbus, Brady cannot rest if there are territories yet unexplored... Brady would like to express his thanks to his aunts and uncle for buying him the cool tunnel below.

Brady's Birthday

Brady had so much fun at his birthday party. Among the guests were Brady's buddies (Cohen, Lillian, Julia and Mae) from ImaginOn, Jim and Gloria, and Amanda. He enjoyed every moment especially when he was able to eat his cake. One thing that you'll notice is the copious amounts of blue frosting that is all over his face and which he devoured. In fact, he ate more frosting than actual cake. Mom and dad were in for a "surprise" the next morning when we changed his diaper. BLUE POOH!

Brady's buddies with their mommies. Katie and Cohen, Paige and Lillian, Kim and Brady, Mandy and Mae, and Deborah and Julia.

Brady Boy with Santa

Okay, we know we're a bit late on the blog, but here we go . . .

Brady met Santa for the first time at ImaginOn last week (December 4, 2009). I thought he would cry, but he didn't. He was just curious. Towards the end of his visit with Santa, Brady was ready to go home.
