Hudson's Baptism

During the Thanksgiving Holiday we celebrated Hudson's baptism with Matt's family. Hudson was not the only Benton baptized on November 26, 2011, his cousin, Van was baptized too! It was wonderful watching both babies getting baptized at St. Gabriel's Church in Charlotte. After the baptisms, we celebrated with pizza and ice cream. ALL the kids and SOME adults were in heaven!

Four Months

Hudson turned four months on 11-11-11! At his well-visit he weighed 13lbs 130z and measured 24 1/2 inches long (1/2 inch longer than Brady when Brady was 4 months). Exciting milestones seem to happen everyday! Here are just a few from Hudson's point-of-view:

* I can roll from back to tummy, and tummy to back (but only in the morning).
* I can reach for objects and place them in my mouth.
* I bust-a-gut laughing at my Mommy and Daddy.
* I sleep in my own room without my Mommy and Daddy.
* I eat rice cereal for breakfast every morning.
* I am practicing sleeping through the night.

Trick-or-Treat

Halloween 2011 was by far the BEST Halloween ever for our family (besides Halloween '99 when I met Matt). Brady woke up to a bag of Halloween treats and a spooky card with his favorite character, Jack, from The Nightmare before Christmas. Of course, the card was his favorite "treat."

Brady's class had a Halloween party and Brady was so excited to dress-up as a pilot!Brady decorating his cupcake and sneaking a lick of frosting...maybe this is why he didn't take a nap!Brady's classmates.Brady and Hudson getting ready for our annual neighborhood Halloween party.Brady really enjoyed getting his face painted. He went back twice!Hudson enjoying the music. The fire engine stopped by for a few minutes and Brady was thrilled.
