First Day Out
After a day of recovering from our long flight to San Francisco, we finally were up and about. We met our cousins at Micke Grove Park and explored all it had to offer. First we went through the zoo to see exotic animals (Brady was more interested in the swinging doors than the animals.) Next, we hit the amusement park, and Brady and Mommy took a ride on an old Model-T. At the end of our ride Brady started crying because he was sad that the car ride had ended. Then, we headed off to the playground where Brady and his cousins (Bryson and Wyette), played hard for over an hour. After the park, we headed back to grandma Tammy's house, and Brady decided to relax in grandma Tammy's rocking chair and cool off in LuLu's water bowl. It was a fun filled day and Brady crashed at the end of the day.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail . . .
Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny came a day early for Brady. Our neighborhood held its annual Easter day parade in Fourth Ward Park. Brady missed the festivities because of a late nap, but that didn't stop him from seeing Mr. Easter Bunny and our firefighters with their fire truck. Is it me or is that Easter Bunny a bit freaky? "Hey mom, this freaking bunny is creeping me out..."
"This is taking too long, when do I get my turn behind the wheel?"
In the wee hours of Easter morning, Brady woke up to some special gifts from the Easter Bunny and grandma Tammy (potty chair and potty book), which were all sitting on the colorful table his granny Susan bought for him.

Typical boy...reading leisurely on the toilet.
Brady was all dressed up and ready to go play in the park with his brother, Monto.
After a long day of Easter, Brady was dog tired! He decided to take a rest in Monty's crate or is that just creative parenting? "Ugghhhh guys... did you forget about me in here?"
